We're sitting around reading lots of books out loud these days, both library & owned copies. One of my favorites from learning to read out loud at Nana's house, The Mitten
by Jan Brett. A Ukrainian folk tale about animals keeping warm in the snow! The Twelve Days of Christmas
is another goodie by the same illustrator. I'm a sucker for this style of drawing, to say the least.
