Never before have I spent a beach week without a drop of rain or even an overcast day. There was a hazy morning or two that cleared by brunchtime, but the OBX treated us last week. Also the moon appeared before the sun set each night; that's moonlight on the water. There were lots of retirement aged couples watching sunrises & sunsets together.
