Recently mum picked up a more reasonably priced (compared to Whole Foods, for instance) rain barrel from Friends of the Rappahannock. Until it's installed, with in-tact screens to keep mosquitos from breeding in there, we've been collecting the water that condenses & drips as we use the A/C. Our short trips outdoors to empty the bowl is a game for Elijah, who stomps around like a monster with the empty bowl over his face. I'm thinking perhaps the rain barrel water can be useful not only in watering our garden but also to fill a toddler pool?
